I’m really proud of this project just launched by the Manhattan Borough President’s office — the NYC Taxpayer Receipt. With the tool, NYC taxpayers can find out how the city spends locally-raised funds. We’re in the middle of budget season in NYC and I hope the taxpayer receipt plays some small role in helping New Yorkers understand the city budget. My good friend Grant Custer designed the receipt.
